 Why bamboo:

Bamboo can grow up to 1 meter per day, 20 times faster than trees, it can be harvested yearly and does not need to be replanted. Additionally, Bamboo requires no pesticides or fertilizer and far less water to grow.

It releases 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere and absorbs more carbon dioxide in comparison to other plants. It protects the environment as it grows and even helps to reduce soil erosion.

Bamboo is naturally soft, strong and antimicrobial, paper products made of bamboo do not require chemicals for that purpose. Bamboo is biodegradable returning to soil thus improving it without impact on global warming.
